I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today. No spoilers, don't look away.
My review, I could have written this before I went in:
There are things I liked better in the old.
There are things I liked better in the new.
Some of the things I liked in the new involved the lack of things I disliked in the old.
Some of the things I liked in the new involved the improved art and technology of filmmaking.
Some of the things I liked in the new involved Burtonisms.
Many of the things I missed in the new were Wilderisms.
